Cardholder Information Security:

The Dragonfly Hair Design website platform incorporates several robust security measures. Here’s how Wix manages and protects your sensitive information:

1. PCI Compliance:
   - PCI DSS Certification: Wix is PCI DSS compliant, ensuring it meets the stringent requirements for handling, processing, and storing cardholder data. This compliance helps to protect against data breaches and fraud.

2. Encryption:
   - SSL Certificates: Wix automatically provides SSL certificates for our website, ensuring that all data transmitted between our site and our visitors is encrypted. This protects sensitive information such as credit card details during transactions.
   - HTTPS Protocol: All Wix sites use HTTPS, which secures communication by encrypting data transmitted between the browser and the server.

3. Tokenization:
   - Wix uses tokenization to secure payment information. Instead of storing card details, Wix converts this information into tokens. These tokens are useless if intercepted, as they cannot be used outside the specific transaction context.

Privacy Protection

1. Data Protection:
   - Data Minimization: Wix practices data minimization, only collecting the necessary information required for the transaction and services, thus reducing the risk associated with data storage.
   - Secure Storage: All personal data is stored securely, with access restricted to authorized personnel only.

2. Additional Security Measures

1. Fraud Detection and Prevention:
   - Monitoring and Alerts: Wix employs fraud detection tools that monitor for suspicious activities and alert administrators to potential threats.
   - Secure Payment Gateways: Payments processed through Wix use secure, third-party payment gateways that add an additional layer of security.

2. Regular Security Audits:
   - Continuous Monitoring: Wix conducts regular security audits and employs continuous monitoring to detect and respond to vulnerabilities promptly.
